I am a boat builder and wanna be designer as well as a former sailmaker. I have a reasonable understanding of foils and charistics there of, but as always trying to learn more. Currently I am looking for a better understanding of renolds numbers, and the optimum shape with in the tollerances for a j-24 keel. Additionally I am looking for more knowlege reguarding the conceptual side of naca 00-- foils. My reading of various books has demonstrated to me that my caculus is not up to the task.
