Aircraft Brake Lining Design Specification

Please, I am looking for information about Aircraft Brake Lining Design Specification (FAR or MIL Spec) in reference
to the necessary test and quality controls to reach the STC & PMA.(small aircraft FAR 23 class)
Any help is welcome.
