You mean _coaxial_ counter- rotating?
Not impossible, but generally a bad idea. See 'flap hinges'. See 'blade flex'.
Boeing Vertol did it with rotors displaced radially, to opposite ends of the aircraft.
Flettner did it with adjacent intermeshing rotors.
Is that what you wanted?

flyboyof3 字串7 The only people who have tried to do this sucessfully are Eagles Perch and even they have switched over to making UAV's. here is a link if you are still interested. http://www.eagleaviationtech.com/epi%20brochure.htm B.E.

flyboyof3,
Ezycopter sent out an email last month to see if there were people interested in buying just their Coaxial Drive System and then building the rest themselves. http://www.yoshine.com/home.php
In addition, you might find the pages on this intermeshing helicopter of interest. http://www.unicopter.com/SynchroLite.html

Flyboyof3,
If you like to "fly by the seat of your pants", check out the helicopter video at the attached link. Then contact the Japanese for details on the drive shafts and bearings.
