static analysis with non linear elastic materials

Hi,

I need to perform a static analysis with a nonlinear elastic material considering small strains (no more than 15%); up to now I did the same analysis considering only the geometric nonlinearity (sol 106) with cquad4 elements and a linear elastic material.
How can I simulate this material nonlinearity?
can someone help me?

Marco

hi marco,

You should probably post this question in the Finite element analysis engieering forum or MSC Software Patran forum since you seem to be using Nastran sol106. I am not sure this subject belong in this forum.

You will have probably more answers on those forums anyway.
